Acrokeratosis paraneoplastica is an example of a paraneoplastic syndrome which reflects an underlying malignancy. The clinical manifestations include palmoplantar keratoderma, violaceous psoriasiform papulosquamous lesions, hyperpigmentation, and nail dystrophy.
